Meeting Times: 3rd Thursday of every month at 12:30 p.m.
We meet as described above, the 3rd Thursday of each month at 12: 30 p.m. for a Potluck Lunch. I enjoy preparing for this meeting by making reminder phone calls to each senior and also organizing and “setting up” for each meeting. Some months we have a guest speaker, maybe entertainment or just casually sit and enjoy lunch and each other. I would like to have a larger group, currently we only have an average of 10 attending. I hope to encourage those that do not attend to minister to the others that cannot attend due to failing health or other misfortunes. This could be done through phone callls, cards, meals, prayer, etc. The Yahoos is better known as “Young at Heart Outreaching to Others.” They are all a fun loving group and my wish is that this group will become larger and that their needs will always be met if ever a problem arises.
